Melissa Morales, MBS
Research AssistantBiography
Melissa Morales holds a Master’s Degree in Biomedical Sciences and is passionate about advancing medicine through research and improving patient care. She currently serves as a Clinical Research Assistant at Flourish Research Borland Groover, where she supports gastroenterology-focused clinical trials through patient recruitment, data collection, and regulatory compliance. Her background includes research experience in both clinical and academic settings, including neonatal trials at the University of Florida and ecological studies at Florida Atlantic University.
Melissa is also dedicated to service and mentorship, having volunteered with organizations like Big Brothers Big Sisters and Ronald McDonald House Charities.
When she’s not in the clinic or out in the community, Melissa is likely planning her next adventure. She’s a huge Disney fan having visited 4 of the 6 Disney parks worldwide and has traveled to over 25 countries, always eager to experience new cultures and cuisines.
