Cynthia graduated from the University of North Florida with a Bachelor’s degree in Nursing with the distinction of “Fab Grad”. She is the Co-Founder of the Jacksonville Center for Clinical Research and has worked over 36 years in clinical research operations for ENCORE Research.

She completed her Master’s Degree in Animal Science at the University of California at Davis in 1992. Hope worked for Genentech, Inc. from 1990-2009 developing animal models of cardiovascular disease (18 yrs), then as a non-clinical study monitor (2 yrs).…

Having recently graduated in 2022 from the University of North Florida with a degree in International Business, he has garnered experience in the professional sector as a Pricing Admin and Data Analyst. He has since returned to school to complete his pre-medical prerequisites while gaining experience in the ED as a Medical Scribe. Ultimately, he plans to practice anesthesia as a CAA or CRNA.

Ava Lankarani works as a research assistant at the Borland Groover Southside Research clinic and is a current senior at Bolles High School. She is planning a college career in biomedical sciences with additional interests in neuroscience and gastroenterology and a minor in creative writing. Ava loves animals and has 2 cats and a dog and enjoys writing and reading in her free time.

Rassy graduated from Jacksonville University with a Bachelor of Science degree and a minor in Biology in 1994.

From 2005 to 2023, Rassy worked at the Baptist Medical Center (Cancer Center), gaining experience in the following areas:
1) Member of the cancer committee
2) Cancer Research Coordinator
3) Tumor Registrar
4) Clinical Cancer Conference Coordinator
5) Conducting Breast Cancer and Cancer Department surveys every three years

With experience as a lab technician and phlebotomist at Encore Borland-Groover Clinical Research and Flagler Hospital in Jacksonville and St. Augustine, respectively, she has honed her skills and gained a deeper understanding of patient care.
