Dr. Krunal Patel is a board-certified gastroenterologist with Borland Groover. Originally from Mumbai, India, he earned his medical degree from Topiwala National Medical College. He continued his medical training in the United States by completing his Internal Medicine residency at the University of Arizona College of Medicine in Tucson, where he was honored with the Best Overall Resident Award during his final year.
Dr. Patel went on to serve as a fourth-year Chief Resident at Bridgeport Hospital, part of Yale New Haven Health in Connecticut. He then completed his Gastroenterology fellowship at Louisiana State University in Shreveport. Following fellowship, he practiced in Baton Rouge, Louisiana, where he also served as Vice Chief of Staff at his hospital.
Dr. Patel enjoys all aspects of gastroenterology, with a particular passion for cancer prevention and helping patients maintain long-term digestive health through early detection and personalized care.
He later relocated to Jacksonville, Florida, with his wife, a pediatric cardiologist. Outside of medicine, Dr. Patel enjoys cooking, watching sports, and most importantly, spending quality time with his family and children.
