Biography

Dr. Kinesh Changela is an interventional gastroenterologist at Borland Groover, affiliated with The Baptist Medical Center in Downtown Jacksonville. He earned his medical degree from Maharaja Krishnakumarsinhji Bhavnagar University, India, and completed his residency in internal medicine at The Brooklyn Hospital Center, where he was chief resident. He further specialized in gastroenterology and hepatology and completed an interventional gastroenterology fellowship at Moffitt Cancer Center and The University of South Florida.

Dr. Changela specializes in diagnosing and treating gastrointestinal malignancies using advanced endoscopic techniques like endoscopic ultrasound (EUS) and endoscopic retrograde cholangiopancreatography (ERCP). He is skilled in managing benign biliary and pancreatic conditions and performing procedures such as endoscopic mucosal resection (EMR), stent placement, and minimally invasive pancreatic necrosectomy. He also practices general gastroenterology and conducts colorectal cancer screenings.

An extensively published researcher, Dr. Changela, focuses on colorectal cancer screening in high-risk populations and innovative endoscopic technologies. He serves on the editorial boards of prominent gastroenterology journals.
