Biography

Dr. Goyal is proficient in complex endoscopy procedures for managing suspected or known gastrointestinal and biliopancreatic cancers. These procedures include the removal of large cancerous and precancerous polyps/lesions from the stomach, small intestines, and colon by minimally invasive methods. He also performs endoscopic ultrasound (EUS) and ERCP for managing benign and cancerous pancreatic and biliary diseases. He specializes in the management of reflux, bloating, inflammatory bowel diseases (IBD), irritable bowel syndrome (IBS), constipation and diarrhea, and liver cirrhosis. He performs general endoscopic procedures such as EGD and colonoscopies to evaluate and manage them. Dr. Goyal also performs high-quality screening colonoscopies to find and remove colorectal cancer/polyps at an early stage.
Dr. Goyal has actively participated in and led numerous research projects focused on gastrointestinal diseases, contributing to the advancement of medical knowledge in his field. He has published over 200 scientific articles and served as a guest editor for various esteemed medical journals.
