She holds a master’s in biomedical sciences and has research experience in neonatal trials at the University of Florida and ecological studies at Florida Atlantic University.
Passionate about advancing medicine and patient care, Melissa volunteers with Big Brothers Big Sisters of America and enjoys traveling and exploring new cultures and cuisines.
