Hope graduated with Honors from Purdue University with a Bachelor of Science Degree in Animal Science in 1986. She completed her Master’s Degree in Animal Science at the University of California at Davis in 1992. Hope worked for Genentech, Inc. from 1990-2009 developing animal models of cardiovascular disease (18 yrs), then as a non-clinical study monitor (2 yrs). She then started her own Non-clinical study management consulting business in 2010, which she maintains today. Hope started in clinical research as an RA at JCCR in Mar 2019, transitioned to FICCR in Sep 2019, became a CRC in training in Jan 2020 and started at Encore Borland Groover June 1st 2020.
Hope loves animals, has 4 cats, volunteers for the Wildlife Rescue Coalition and was a volunteer at the Jacksonville Zoo for 1 yr. She enjoys working around her home, riding horses, riding her Harley motorcycle and anything adventurous. She has traveled to most states in the U.S., Canada, Mexico, Belgium, Germany, China and New Zealand.
